INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

We believe that long-term business fundamentals ultimately determine company equity values and that diversified, quality-oriented portfolios managed with a multi-year investment horizon provide the greatest opportunity for long-term capital appreciation and preservation. To achieve these goals, we identify businesses that we believe possess strong fundamental attributes and seek to invest in candidates with attractive upside potential and limited downside risk.

INVEST IN BUSINESSES
WITH STRONG
FUNDAMENTALS

We emphasize free cash flow generation, long-term normalized earnings power, management team strength, industry dynamics and the financial health of the business

IDENTIFY MANAGEMENT
TEAMS THAT CAN
CREATE SHAREHOLDER VALUE

We search for underfollowed, misunderstood or out of favor companies with a high probability of fundamental improvement

PROTECT CAPITAL
THROUGH A DISCIPLINED,
RISK-MINDED APPROACH

We utilize a conservative valuation methodology and seek to avoid companies with binary fundamentals and poor capital structures

CONSTRUCT DIVERSIFIED
PORTFOLIOS WITH A
LONG-TERM VIEW

We build diversified portfolios from the bottom-up, and focus on business fundamentals over a multi-year time horizon to ride out market noise

At Aristotle, we are committed to active participation in our communities both locally and internationally. We partner with a number of outstanding organizations and nonprofits that advance health, education, the arts and human services not only to support their valuable missions but also to enrich our own lives through teamwork and continuous learning. From walking to support St. Jude to mentoring youth to volunteering in neighborhoods in great economic need, Aristotle strives to make a meaningful difference in our communities.

Each Holiday Season, Aristotle makes a monetary donation on behalf of our clients to a charity determined by our employees. In the past, our contributions have included Disabled American Veterans, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and American Red Cross (Hurricane Harvey Relief).
