Robert R. Womack, Jr. is Chief Innovation Officer at Aristotle Capital.  As a senior member of the leadership team, Rob brings his skills and technical expertise to ensure the shared services platform meets the needs of the company, our affiliates, and most importantly, Aristotle’s valued clients. With extensive experience in investment management across numerous functional areas including Portfolio Management, Trading, Investment Operations, Technology and Institutional Client Service, Rob has a deep understanding of how to leverage technology and process improvements to drive business growth and innovation.  He has spearheaded Aristotle’s digital marketing transformation, deployed automation and prioritized data as an enterprise asset.

In addition to his technical expertise, Rob has a proven ability to build and lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects and oversee strategic acquisitions. He is a strategic thinker and problem solver, able to identify business needs and develop creative solutions that drive value for clients and the organization.  He is also a collaborative and effective communicator, with a track record of working closely with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Rob is committed to building a culture of excellence and innovation and has a passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders. Rob is also the Executive Sponsor of the DEI Council at Aristotle.

Prior to Aristotle, Rob spent 14 years at MetWest Securities, subsequently known as Wachovia Global Securities Lending, and ClearLend Securities, an investment management firm specializing in securities lending and short-term investment management. Most notably, Rob was the Chief Lending & Operations Officer and directed the Institutional Client Service team. MetWest Securities originated as an affiliate of the MetWest Ventures organization. During his tenure, he was also Managing Director and Principal at MetWest Financial, now MetWest Ventures, and assisted many of its affiliate investment management firms with client service, operations, technology, trading and administration. Rob began his career at Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco as Financial Analyst, and later as Portfolio Manager for World Savings & Loan Association/Golden West Financial and for Pilgrim Management Corporation. He was President of Astra Management Corporation. 

Rob earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance/Marketing from Baylor University and his MBA from Southern Methodist University. He also holds a General Securities Principal’s license with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
