Robert R. Womack, Jr.
Managing Director

Rob Womack is a Managing Director at Aristotle.  Rob is responsible for evaluating and initiating new business opportunities and overseeing and working with key outside parties and coordinating internal efforts.  In addition, he assists in setting strategic direction and supporting marketing, client service, operations, technology, trading and administration.  Prior to this, Rob spent 14 years at ClearLend Securities, formerly WGSL and MetWest Securities, an investment management firm specializing in securities lending.  Most notably, Mr. Womack was the Chief Lending & Operations Officer for ClearLend and directed the Institutional Client Service team.  ClearLend originated as an affiliate of the MetWest Ventures organization.  During his tenure, he was also a Managing Director and Partner at MetWest Financial, now MetWest Ventures, and assisted many of its affiliate investment management firms.

Rob began his career at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco as a Financial Analyst, and later as a Portfolio Manager for World Savings & Loan Association/Golden West Financial and for Pilgrim Management Corporation.  He later served as President at Astra Management Corporation.

Rob received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance/Marketing from Baylor University, and his Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.  He also holds a General Principal’s license with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Nancy Scarlett 
Managing Director, Director of Operations

Nancy Scarlett oversees the operations department at Aristotle.  Nancy brings 25 years of investment operations experience to Aristotle.  Prior to joining Aristotle, Nancy was Managing Director of Operations for Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC.  Nancy was also an Operations Specialist with Palley-Needelman Asset Management, Inc.  She began her career at Sutro & Co., Inc. as an Operations Manager.

Nancy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Oregon.

Michelle M. Gosom
Senior Vice President, Senior Compliance Officer

Michelle Gosom is Senior Compliance Officer at Aristotle.  Previously, Michelle served as Senior Vice President in the Business Development and Client Service team at Reed Conner and Birdwell, LLC for over 11 years.  Previously, Michelle also served as a marketing associate for Transamerica Insurance and Investments.

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.  She is an active member of PAICR (Professional Association of Investment Communications Resources) and serves on the organization’s Advisory Board.
