Howard Gleicher, CFA
CEO and Chief Investment Officer
Howard Gleicher is CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Aristotle. Having over 29 years of investment experience, Howard heads the firm and leads the investment effort. Prior to founding Aristotle, Howard was co-founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer at Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC. Howard’s prior investment-related experience includes serving as a Principal, Portfolio Manager and Investment Policy Committee member at Palley-Needelman Asset Management, Inc., and an Equity Portfolio Manager at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO).
Howard earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a CFA® charterholder.
Gary Lisenbee
Co-CEO and Co-Chief Investment Officer
Gary Lisenbee is Co-CEO and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Aristotle. Having over 40 years of investment experience, Gary co-heads the firm and co-leads the investment effort. Prior to Aristotle, Gary was co-founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer at Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC. Gary’s prior investment-related experience includes serving as a Principal, Portfolio Manager and Investment Policy Committee member at Palley-Needelman Asset Management, Inc.; Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Investment Policy Committee member at Van Deventer & Hoch, Investment Counsel, and Partner and Research Analyst at Phelps Investment Management.
Gary earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Masters of Arts degree in Economics from California State University, Fullerton.
Geoffrey Stewart, CFA
Principal, Portfolio Manager – International
Geoffrey Stewart is a member of the Aristotle research team and a veteran of the investment industry. Geoffrey was an analyst and Portfolio Manager with Reed, Conner & Birdwell, LLC (RCB) for eight years, with responsibility for co-managing the International strategy. (RCB combined its business with Aristotle in January 2012.) Prior to his tenure with RCB, Geoffrey served as an equity analyst at Oppenheimer & Company.
Geoffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Duke University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
Sean Thorpe
Principal, Portfolio Manager – International
Sean Thorpe is a member of the Aristotle research team and a veteran of the investment industry. Sean was an analyst and Portfolio Manager at Reed, Conner & Birdwell, LLC (RCB), with responsibility for co-managing the International strategy. (RCB combined its business with Aristotle in January 2012.) Prior to his tenure with RCB, Sean served as Senior Vice President for Shamrock Holdings, LLC, where he specialized in activist investments for domestic small cap companies. Sean was also Managing Director for Mandeville Partners, LLC, where he was involved in the consolidation of cable companies throughout Latin America. He has held positions as the Vice President in Strategic Planning at Salick Health Care, Inc. and a financial analyst for both Kidder Peabody & Co. and Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc.
Sean earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a founding parent of Valley Charter School, a charter school that opened in 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
Victor Hawley, CFA
Principal, Senior Global Research Analyst
Vic Hawley is a member of the Aristotle research team and a veteran of the investment industry. Vic was a senior analyst and Portfolio Manager at Reed, Conner & Birdwell, LLC (RCB) for 17 years, prior to the firm joining with Aristotle in January 2012. Prior to his tenure with RCB, Vic was a Vice President at The Boston Company. He also held various positions in sales, product development and marketing at International Business Machines.
Vic earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Harvard University. He is a CFA® charterholder. Vic is a former Governor of the CFA Society of Los Angeles, Inc.
William Cram, CFA
Principal, Senior Global Research Analyst
Bill Cram is a member of the Aristotle research team and a veteran of the investment industry. Bill was an analyst and Portfolio Manager at Reed, Conner & Birdwell, LLC (RCB) for six years, prior to the firm joining with Aristotle in January 2012. He has coverage experience across a variety of sectors, market capitalizations and geographies. Prior to his tenure with RCB, Bill served as a lead research analyst covering the Telecom sector at Loop Capital Markets and also a consultant at Accenture.
Bill earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Iowa and his MBA from the University of Southern California. He is a CFA® charterholder.
Jay Cunningham, CFA
Principal, Senior Global Research Analyst
Jay Cunningham is a member of the Aristotle research team. Jay brings over 18 years of investment experience to Aristotle. Prior to joining Aristotle, he was a Senior Vice President, Senior Analyst at Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC for seven years. Jay’s prior investment-related experience includes serving as Senior Analyst at Hibernia Southcoast Capital; Senior Analyst at AIM Investments and Sector Analyst/Portfolio Manager at Retirement Systems of Alabama.
Jay earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Alabama and his MBA from Auburn University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
Robert Bexton, CFA
Global Research Analyst
Robert Bexton is a member of the Aristotle research team. Prior to this, Robert was a research associate with Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management, an equity analyst with Moirai Capital Management and a research assistant with MBF Capital Management. Robert is responsible for fundamental company research and valuation work. He has over 10 years of equity research experience.
Robert earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and his Master of Science degree in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a CFA® charterholder.
Eric Gerritse
Global Research Analyst
Eric Gerritse is a member of the Aristotle research team. Eric brings over 17 years of investment experience to Aristotle. Prior to joining Aristotle, Eric worked in Amsterdam as a Senior Fund Analyst at ABN AMRO Advisors. Prior to this, he was Fund Analyst at MeesPierson, a division of Fortis Bank which merged with ABN AMRO Advisors in 2010. While at MeesPierson, he was the sole U.S. equity analyst covering U.S. managers. Eric’s prior investment-related experience includes serving as equity analyst covering U.S. and global equities at MeesPierson, Institutional Equity Sales at KBW Wesselius Effektenbank and a junior Equity Analyst at Wesselius Securities.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Haagse Hogeschool in The Netherlands. Eric speaks several languages including Dutch and Spanish. He is a CFA® level III candidate.

Sandra Incontro, CFA

Sandra Incontro is a member of the Aristotle investment team. Sandy brings more than 19 years of investment experience to Aristotle. Prior to joining Aristotle, she served as Portfolio/Relationship Manager at Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC for 11 years and President for the last 2½ years. Sandy’s prior investment-related experience includes serving as Vice President and Senior Investment Strategist at Strong Capital Management, Inc.; Senior Portfolio Analyst at SSI Investment Management Inc.; and Senior Associate at Wilshire Associates.
Sandy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Southern California, and her MBA from Garvin School of International Management (“Thunderbird”). She is a CFA® charterholder.
Eric Smith, CFA
Principal, Client Portfolio Manager
Eric Smith is a member of the Aristotle investment team. Eric brings more than 36 years of investment experience to Aristotle. Prior to joining Aristotle, he served as Portfolio/Relationship Manager and Director of Client Services at Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC for 11 years. Eric’s prior investment-related experience includes serving as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Capital Management while managing the Private Bank’s Investment Unit in the Southern Region of California; Vice President and Portfolio Manager at The Chase Manhattan Private Bank; and Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Van Deventer & Hoch, Investment Counsel.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and his MBA from California State University, Long Beach. He is a CFA® charterholder. Eric is also a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and a founding member of the CFA Society Orange County.
Catalina Llinás, CFA
Principal, Client Portfolio Manager
Catalina Llinás is a member of the Aristotle investment team. Prior to joining Aristotle, she spent eight years at Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC most recently as a Senior Vice President, Portfolio Relationship Manager. In her role, Catalina was the primary liaison between the investment team and some of the firm’s largest institutional clients. Catalina has participated in numerous investment presentations and panels within the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. She also previously worked in an investment-related capacity at Citibank España, in Madrid, Spain.
Catalina earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Universidad Europea de Madrid and her MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She is a CFA® charterholder. Catalina grew up in Spain and Colombia and has also lived in Switzerland and France. She is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French and Italian.
