Steve Borowski is President of Aristotle Capital. Steve began in the investment industry in 1980 and has experiences in equity and fixed income markets. Prior to joining Aristotle Capital, Steve was co-founder and Managing Partner at Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC for 13 years. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Palley-Needelman Asset Management, Inc., where he first established his partnership with Aristotle Capital’s CEO and Chief Investment Officer, Howard Gleicher.
Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Irvine and his MBA from Pepperdine University. He serves on the Investment Committee for the Blind Childrens Center in Los Angeles and on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation, the UC Irvine Chancellors Club as well as the UC Irvine Athletic Association.
Ranjit S. Sufi
Ranjit Sufi is a Managing Director at Aristotle Capital. Prior to joining Aristotle Capital, Ranjit was an Executive Vice President with Martin Currie responsible for the North America marketplace. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Tradewinds Global Investors’ parent company Nuveen Investments, where he performed a similar role for the Nuveen affiliates. Before joining Nuveen, Ranjit served as a Managing Director at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management, LLC, leading the firm’s institutional client service, sales, marketing and consultant relations efforts globally. Previous to that role, he was a Principal and Senior Client Relationship Officer with Barclays Global Investors, U.S. Institutional Group. His earlier experiences include serving as Director of Investment Management with AirTouch Communications and Manager of Corporate Finance and Capital Markets with Pacific Telesis Group.
Ranjit earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fresno and his MBA from Pepperdine University.
William J. Averill
William Averill is a Director at Aristotle Capital. Prior to joining Aristotle Capital, Will was Vice President of Institutional Services at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he was tasked with growing assets in the U.S. public funds sector. Prior to joining Loomis, Sayles in 2005, Will served as Director of Institutional Services at Intercontinental, a private equity real estate firm, where he was responsible for institutional sales, service and consultant relations. He also worked as a Principal in institutional sales at State Street Global Advisors, focusing on the public fund marketplace and at Mellon Bank as a Global Trust Accountant.
Will earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College.
John J. Manley, CFA
Vice President, Institutional Sales
John Manley is a Vice President, Institutional Sales at Aristotle Capital. Prior to joining Aristotle Capital, John was a Senior Client Relationship Manager at William Blair Investment Management. Previously, John was Principal, Investment Consultant at Meketa Investment Group and a Senior Research Analyst at Kobren Insight Management. He began his career in the industry as Client Account Manager, Investor Services, at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Government from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of both the CFA Institute and the Chicago Security Analysts Society.
