We focus on the business first and then on valuation.  We strongly believe that companies must compete on a global basis to best serve shareholders’ interests; therefore, we are global in our analysis in order to identify outstanding investment opportunities.  We also seek change that will be positive for the companies’ future prospects.  We believe in a long-term investment horizon.  Having a long-term view reduces turnover, which has historically run 20-30% annually, and maximizes our clients’ participation in the success of high-quality businesses with sustainable competitive advantages.
